Firewood Holder

This project is inspired from a metal firewood holder, and reimagined to make possible with an Australian Hardwood. Bent lamination was the method used to curve the main framework, and these were connected with half-lap joints. The bottom is tensioned with steel cable.

 

The firewood puts significant stress on the frame so the structural integrity was a major factor that was considered during development.
