Built-in Cabinet

Material: Tasmanian Blackwood, Wenge

By far the largest project undertaken, the client specified a 4m wide cabinet incorporating doors and drawers. It provides the basis for a display/book case above it which houses rare artifacts he collects. All mechanisms for the drawers and doors are sourced from Blum for long lasting use. The Wenge inlay is inspired by Pedulla Studio.

Constructed in two phases, the upper half of the wall cabinet incorporates a book case with a custom display case for the client’s rare artifacts. It also uses specialised Blum lift systems to hide an AC unit in the centre of the piece. The piece is constructed in four different sections and assembled on site over two days.
